Discussion - Sonic Boom season 2 Pt2: Wishlists

Hi there folks! Welcome to part 2 of our discussion on season 2 of Sonic Boom. In part 1 of our discussion, we talked about how the staff could improve the show. If you haven’t read part 1 yet, then click on the link underneath this sentence.
Discussion - Sonic Boom season 2 Pt1: Improving itGreeting everyone, V-202 Davva here and a happy new year to you all. I’ve thought I’d start the year off with a discussion journal. As many of you are aware by now that I like Sonic Boom. Hell, I made 3 countdown lists (4 if you count Top 10 Worst Moments in Worlds Unite) dedicated to this spin-off series. With a second season currently in the works, I thought it would be fun to talk about how the production staff can improve the show. As I’ve said in one of my countdowns, even though I enjoyed this new cartoon adaptation, it does have some problems.
Now before we start talking about improving the show’s problems, let me make one thing loud and perfectly crystal clear as day. This discussion journal is NOT about bashing the show. This discussion journal is about offering constructive criticism to the staff and how they can improve the said show. If your one of those people who believes cancelling the show is the only good idea there is, do us all a favour a
And now for the fun part. It’s time to talk about some episode ideas and what my wishlist for season 2 is. Feel free to share your ideas as well and do tell what you think of mine. Keep in mind however that these are ONLY ideas, NOT confirmed episodes. All I’m doing is making suggestions of some POSSIBLE ideas, while having fun in making them. As much as I would like to write for the show, I don’t think anyone is going to hire some random individual like me for a show/comic anytime soon. Any who, let’s begin.

WISHLIST #01
The Weasel Bandits New Leader
Episode begins with the Weasel Bandits trying to rob a bank... and they failed miserably thanks to Team Sonic saving the day. A cloaked figure watches in the distance and follows them home. At a big worn out house, the Weasel Bandits complain about their failure and why they just can’t get a break until the cloaked figure enters their house. The cloaked figure reveals to be a weasel. He asks to be the new leader and in return he’ll help the bandits be better thieves or he’ll kill them. They quickly agreed and the mysterious weasel reveals his name is Nack.

I was disappointed at how unused the Weasel Bandits were. With the exception of one of them, they only appeared in two episodes. Not only would the inclusion of Nack the Weasel would make them a bigger threat, it would also make for some good character interactions between them. This episode idea would also reveal the Weasel Bandits individual members names. I would personally name them Tim West, (one with the red bandana) Ted Gunner (one with the blue bandana) and Tom Gunner. For personalities Tim would be a diet coke version of Nack, Ted would be the wild & dumb one of the group and Tom would be rather cowardly. As for the Team Sonic side of the episode, Tails creates an off-road vehicle that could keep up with Sonic for the rest of the members of Team Sonic.


WISHLIST #02
Snow Way Out
While snowboarding down a snowy mountain, an avalanche suddenly happens. With Sonic & Amy trapped inside an icy cave. Will Tails, Sticks and Knuckles find a way to dig them out? What mysteries does this cave have in store for Sonic & Amy? But most of all, can they survive the freezing cold and what else is in the cave before help arrives?

It would be nice to have a Sonic & Amy focused episode. Not because I’m a Sonamy fan. But because it could be an open opportunity for them to show how much they care for each other. Amy’s archaeology expertise would be put to good use here, the potential of seeing some sort of snow beast, the other Team Sonic members actually trying to rescue them instead of arguing with each other and of course some Sonamy moments.


WISHLIST #03
The Fox, the Witch and the Badger
Tails & Zooey are flying back to Bygone Island after a weekend break at Station Square. Zooey thanks Tails for taking her there for a Fuzzy Puppy convention, much to Tails’ annoyance. As they approach Bygone Island, they discover huge green crystals surrounding the town. They quickly found the towns folk trapped inside them, as well as Sonic, Knuckles & Amy. Tails & Zooey soon found Sticks and she tells them what happened. The town was under attack by a wicked witch named Wendy Witchcart and her apprentice. So now Tails, Sticks & Zooey head off to confront her and find a way to turn their town back to normal.

For some odd reason, I wanted to see an obscure villain from an equally obscure game that I’ve never played, to be in the show. Maybe it has something to do with the fan reimaging artworks of her that did it. This episode idea is pretty much a retelling of Tails’ Skypatrol. I thought the show could use a villainess or two. As for Sticks & Zooey tagging along with Tails.
For Sticks, I wanted to give a potential rivalry between her and Wendy’s apprentice and for a few laughs. For Zooey however, for obvious reasons Tails can’t just leave her all alone in the crystallized town. Plus it would also give Zooey to do something heroic and develop her bravery. And I hope the writers can do that.


WISHLIST #04
Whatever Happened to the Cubot Prototypes? *tentative name*
After a 1 minute and 15 seconds recap of “Beyond the Valley of the Cubots”, Sonic and Tails explain the situation to the other Team Sonic members. At first, they tried taking one or two home each with them. But the Cubot prototypes have driven them nuts. Then Tails remembers of an inventor who helped him when he was little, who might help them with their Cubot problem. Meanwhile Eggman hires a bounty hunter and orders him to eliminate the Cubot prototypes.

Out of all the fan episodes I’ve thought up so far, I think this one will possibly happen. I want to see the Cubot prototypes get some form of closure. Instead of a half-assed explanation that they just found a new home, never telling us where it is and that’s the end of it! As for the inventor and the bounty hunter.
For the inventor, he would be one of the few humans that would appear in the show and his design would be one of Eggman’s RoL prototype designs. He would have 2 robots. One being a gizoid named Scrapper and the other being a parody of BB-8. For the bounty hunter, I needed some form of conflict. Since Eggman would probably having an “I can’t be bothered dealing with this today” attitude after what happened in the previous episode about the Cubot Prototypes. I currently have no idea what the bounty hunter looks like. Lastly while the inventor fixes the Cubot prototype, he ends up giving each one a unique voice. As I’ve mentioned in the Top 10 Best Episodes list, they had a missed opportunity to reference Cubot’s subplot in his debut game Sonic Colours and a chance for Wally Wingert to experiment his voice ranges and styles on them.


WISHLIST #05
Untitled Halloween themed episode
On a rainy night, the girls (which consist of Amy, Sticks, Rouge and possibly another female character) are looking for shelter. They soon find a castle-like mansion, where a male bat happily greets them and let’s them inside his mansion. He offers the girls his hospitality with food and a chance to stay for the night. Sticks grows suspicious with the bat. Later that night, she investigates the male bat. Only to discover, that he’s no ordinary bat. But a vampire bat.

Is this a potential good Halloween episode or what? If by some God-given miracle that we get Rouge the Bat in season 2, she would be perfect for this episode. I can imagine the running gag in this episode would be the vampire flirts with Rouge and Rouge would be blushing at his presents. Until the climax of course. As for the antagonist of the episode, I would personally name the vampire bat Lee Imanok. Lee because of the late Christopher Lee and Imanok is Konami spelt backwards. I wouldn’t mind seeing one Castlevania reference. If there’s anything I’ve learn from watching cartoons over the years, is you need at least one Halloween themed episode. I hope this episode becomes a reality.


WISHLIST #06
Trouble on Angel Island
Knuckles receives a letter from his home island. Telling him to return home immediately for a peace treaty between the echidnas and the warthogs. With Team Sonic tagging along, they head to Angel Island. At their arrival, they hope to settle everything down. Knuckles says his long times and no sees with the others. Much to the other echidnas dismay. But the peace treaty maybe short lived, as the both animal factions are about to go to war. However Team Sonic suspects that someone is pulling the strings around here.

According to Sonicguru in one of his podcast videos, this was one of the scrapped episode ideas of season 1. To that I ask, why was this idea scrapped? It would make a far better season finale episode than the one Shadow appears. Where all Team Sonic did was make a shelf. I can imagine Team Sonic trying to bring peace between the factions. For the leader of the echidna factions, I would love it if they could get Princess Alucion to be in it. After all, the animators are from France and Alucion is from a French comicbook adaptation. But that’s just wishful thinking. I also think this would be good if the episode is 22 minutes long.


WISHLIST #07
The Sea Witch
Salty & Pepper are reunited once more and they’ve recruited Team Sonic to help them and the merhogs. The group learned that the Sea Witch has stolen an orb, which can control all the water in the world. Can Team Sonic stop the Sea Witch before she floods Bygone Island to the bottom of the sea? But more importantly, can Salty & Pepper convince her to stop this or will they have no choice but to fight their mother to save everyone?

One of the character interactions from RoL that I liked was the hippo brothers Salty & Pepper. Those 2 in my opinion, I could relate to. Since I sometimes argue with my brothers. I’m hoping that their story arc gets some closure. This is another potential season finale idea that also should be 22 minutes long. I was really disappointed that Pepper didn’t appear in the show, despite them saying he would. Well at least we still got Salty. This episode idea could give us what the show hasn’t done yet. An underwater adventure.
One of the running gags would be Sonic trying to conquer his aquaphobia; we would get both more world building and a continuity nod in the form of Merhogs and possibly a good one-shot villainess. I would be over the moon with joy if the episode becomes reality.


WISHLIST #08
Walrus Me
After suffering one failed “evil scheme” too many, Willy Walrus final realises that they suck at being bad guys. With the Weasel Bandits getting better thanks to Nack and their spy moving to a new home, Wily decides to disband the Lightning Bolt Society. Much to Dave’s sadness. Now Willy has a new challenge ahead of him. To reunite with Lady Walrus and his kids. He’ll do whatever it takes to win back their love.

For the longest time, I’ve had a theory that Lady Walrus was once married to Willy and had children. But then they got devoiced, which leads Wily into committing crimes. This episode idea would allow some long overdue character development for some of the background characters. I wanted give Willy a villain-turned-hero story. I don’t think I’ll break any hearts when I say that the Lightning Bolt Society are one of the most pathetic group of villains I’ve ever seen since D.R.A.T. in Sonic the Comic. So this would be a first step of improving the show, by getting rid of the Lightning Dolts. As for what main Boom characters that’ll be involved, so far only Tails. Where Willy asks his help to rescue his ex-wife and kids.
And yes, the episode would have a happy ending. With Willy & Lady Walrus back together again.


WISHLIST #09
EggRobo is a Go-Go
Episode begins with Eggman working on his newest creation. A robot that looks hauntingly like Eggman himself. He then makes a copy of his mind on a microchip and installs it in the robot. After the robot is activated, it gets into a small argument with Eggman about his name. Before finally settling with the name EggRobo. Meanwhile on Bygone Island, Team Sonic hold auditions for potential new members for the team. So far... no such luck.

This is something that could be used for a season 2 (or dare I say 3 (if the show ever makes it this far)) starting episode. I imagine that as the series goes on, Team Sonic are gonna look for some new recruits for the team. Wheatear or not Shadow, Perci or someone else completely new for this series, will join Team Sonic in the future, is anyone’s guess. I just have a gut feeling it will happen, sooner or later. I have a few reasons why I want EggRobo to appear in Sonic Boom. For starters, I imagine (or at least hope) that the staff will have Eggman invent more Badniks that were familiar with. I would give EggRobo the Commander Brutus approach. Meaning at the start of the season, he’s very obedient and loyal to Eggman. But as the season goes on, he’ll develop hatred towards his creator and gets ambition to conquer the world. Serving as a possible season finale big bad.
Just in case D-Fekt doesn’t appear in the show because he’s either a) destroyed at the end of F&I’s story or b) in the same boat as Lyric.


WISHLIST #10
Where’s My Mummy?
Somewhere in a desert, Team Sonic discover a pyramid that belonged to an evil pharaoh. They decide to explore the pyramid, out of curiosity. Unfortunately Knuckles, Sonic & Sticks got separated from Tails & Amy because of the pyramids traps. But things get worse for Team Sonic, when a mummy of the evil pharaoh has come to life. As the mummy chases Sonic, Knuckles & Sticks. Tails & Amy explore the top parts of the pyramid, while figuring out how to rescue the others. Only to soon encounter another mummy. But this one is a small little girl mummy.

This is another episode idea that I think will possibly happen somewhere down the road. Considering that most of the Team Sonic members ware sports-type/bandages, it would be funny to see them encounter an actual mummy. Sonic is defiantly no stranger to mummies in the past. (pun somewhat intended) As for the little girl mummy, her design would be inspired by Tanis from Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School and she is the evil pharaoh’s daughter. But unlike the pharaoh, she is rather nice. I also imagine this fan episode would have some mummy related references and clichés.


WISHLIST #11
Untitled Amy & Sticks focused episode
A long time friend of Amy’s comes to visit and Team Sonic gives her a warm welcome. All except Sticks, whom she is rather jealous of her. Amy’s friend explains that the reason she’s here is because she found pieces of a broken sword and hopes Amy could help her figure out its secrets. But what they don’t know is that broken sword contains an evil sorcerer, trapped inside by the Ancients. Will Sticks’ jealousy put everyone in danger? But most all, can Team Sonic free Amy’s friend from the evil talking sword’s power?

We had very few episodes that focused on Amy & Sticks this season. So I made an idea episode solely on those two. I imagine that Amy has other friends where she came from. Amy’s friend would be someone she knew from school and has the same interests as her. This episode idea would once again have Amy’s archaeology expertise being put to good use, give Sticks a challenge in getting over with her jealousy, the Ancients would once again be mentioned and a nice continuity nod to Sonic & the Black Knight.


WISHLIST #12
Cry Babies
Amy teaches Sticks how to look after a baby. But then they got interrupted by Wendy Witchcart who is attacking the town. During the battle, Wendy casts a spell that turns Sonic, Knuckles & Amy into babies. Now it’s up to Sticks & Tails to try and turn the rest of Team Sonic into grown-ups again. While also learning how to look after babies. But it won’t be easy. Especially when Wendy decides to attack the town again.

Now for a Sticks & Tails focused episode idea. I believe this episode idea might also happen someday. I imagine that Sonic & Knuckles will be the most troublesome when their babies. I needed an episode that focuses on Tails’ friendship with Sticks. It would give Sticks (and possibly the viewer) the lesson in being responsible towards babies. I also imagine that Wendy would get a taste of her own medicine at the end.


WISHLIST #13
How We First Met? *tentative name*
A lovely female presenter interviews Team Sonic. She asks them the most important questions. How did Team Sonic came to be? How did they first encounter Eggman? But most of all how did Team Sonic first met Sticks? It’s the untold origin story that everyone wants to know! Even Eggman himself wants to be on TV, for this special occasion.

I think this is something that most of us have demanded. Something that both the prequel games and the short-lived comicbook series have failed to do. A simple “how did they meet” storyline. The reason I chose a female TV presenter instead of Comedy Chimp is because I wanted to do something different for a change. Personally I would love it if the female TV presenter was Breezie from AoStH and she doesn’t have that awful modern redesign that Archie Comics made. One thing that I am concerned about is that in one of the interviews with Bill Freiberger.
If I remember correctly, he said that there was no need for an origin storyline or something along those lines. So let me get this straight Mr. Freiberger. Your team of writers were able to give us a decent backstory for Orbot & Cubot in one episode. Yet you believe the other characters don’t need one? I’m sorry Mr. Freiberger, but I heavily disagree. This would make a good potential special one hour episode. I really hope you reconsider Mr. Freiberger.


WISHLIST #14
The Replacements
Episode begins with Eggman attacking the town once again and Team Sonic spring into action. But before they could do anything, Eggman’s Badnik army are already destroyed. Then a new team of heroes reveal themselves to the towns’ people and they praise them. After a series of heroic deeds from the new team, (while making Team Sonic look bad) Team Sonic decided to leave Bygone Island. But something is fishy with the new team of heroes and Team Chaotix are gonna investigate this.

Another possible episode idea that might become a reality. This is gonna be one of those “new hero is/heroes are a fraud(s)/villain(s)” kind of episodes. I was originally going to use Shadow to reveal that the new “heroes” are really villains to Team Sonic. But I decided to choose Team Chaotix instead. Because it makes far better sense than Shadow, who probably wouldn’t lift a finger. If by some God-given miracle we get Team Chaotix in season 2, their detective skills would be perfect for this episode.
I would personally laugh my ass off, if the new team of “heroes” are called the Freedom Fighters. Just to serve as a fuck you to the Sonic SuckAM Worshipers, for demanding the Freedom Has-beens to be on the show.


WISHLIST #15
Birds of a Feather *tentative name*
One night, the Babylon Rogues (which consists of Jet, Wave, Storm and Soar’s daughter) gather at the Weasel Bandits house. Jet gives Soar’s daughter the assignment in stealing Nack’s hat, while he is still asleep. She successfully steals Nack’s hat. But then Nack wakes up, discovers the Babylon Rogues have stolen his hat and yells the others to wake up & get it back. Next morning, Soar the Eagle makes a news report about the Babylon Rogues stealing stuff. Then suddenly he sees a picture of her daughter with them and quickly heads to Sonic for help.

In “Battle of the Boy Bands”, Soar the Eagle mentioned that he has a daughter. This episode idea would give Soar some character development by showing how much he cares about his daughter and explain what her daughter is doing is wrong. If by some God-given miracle we get the Babylon Rogues, they would be perfect rivals for the Weasel Bandits. I imagine that the Rogues would convince Soar’s daughter into doing whatever she wanted. This episode idea would also make a good moral in not getting involved in gang wars.


WISHLIST #16
Cheetahs Never Win
One day a female cheetah, who is an Olympic runner, arrives on Bygone Island to challenge Sonic to a race in her home country. At first Sonic refused. But after insulting him by saying a “you’re afraid to lose to a girl” comment, he changes his mind and accepts. Unfortunately this announcement was said on live television, which Eggman was watching. Eggman begins scheming on how to ruin the race for Sonic. Sometime afterwards, Sonic (with the rest of Team Sonic and some friends from Bygone Island) arrive at the cheetahs country and gets ready to race her.

Another episode idea that might happen. Even though I liked “Blue With Envy”, I thought the race against Swifty was a bit lackluster. Especially since Sonic could outrun Swifty’s skateboarding very easily. I want the writers to give Sonic a far decent challenge. So what better way to challenge a hedgehog who’s gifted with super speed, than the fastest animal in the world in Mobian form. A cheetah. As for her name, her name would be a parody of an actual Olympic athlete and a character from MLP:FiM. I would personally name her Ashley “Dashley” Cheetah-Joyner. I would love it if they get Ashleigh Ball to voice that character. It would be the closest thing to seeing an official Sonic vs Rainbow Dash race off.


WISHLIST #17
The Princess and the Paupers *tentative name*
Blaze the Cat along with Marine the Raccoon arrive on Bygone Island for a visit. To spend some quality time with Amy, Sticks & Perci. But the happy quality time is cut short when a group of minor villains, are here to capture Blaze & Marine. But only one problem. They ended up capturing Sticks & Perci. So now it’s up to the other girls to rescue them... or will Perci & Sticks end up saving themselves?

If by some god-given miracle that we get Blaze & Marine for Sonic Boom, this episode idea is gonna happen as soon as possible. I just know it. I mean think about it. Most of us thought that Sticks was a reimagining of Marine, only for them to tell us she’s a new character altogether. And Perci basically has the same fur colour as Blaze. I would laugh my ass off just the look on the faces of the minor villains of this episode. If it’s the Lightning Bolt Society, this episode would take place BEFORE the Walrus Me episode idea. If it’s a new group of villains, then I currently don’t have any ideas at the moment.


WISHLIST #18
Oh the Humanity!
Episode begins with a cloaked individual arriving to the town. She is opening her brand new bakery. Upon her grand opening of her bakery, her cloak was court on a loose nail. Revealing herself to be a human. Most of the town folks quickly ran away from her. Team Sonic feeling sorry for her decide to help, by becoming her first customers. But trouble might be afoot. As Shadow comes to town and Dave plans on destroying her bakery.

Here’s an episode idea that offers 3 things. More human characters, some much needed development for Shadow and a good moral. Considering that Eggman has attacked the town more times than anyone could count, I expect the town folks to hesitate in trusting humans. The human female would look like she’s in her mid 20s. For Shadow’s role in this story, he basically comes to pick a fight against Shadow with Sonic. But the human female stops him and offers him a cookie. This would course Shadow to remember the time how much he liked cookies made by Maria. (if Maria existed in the Boom universe) As for Dave, he views her bakery as a threat to his restaurant. So of course he’ll do whatever it takes to ruin her bakery.


WISHLIST #19
Chocoholic Zombies
One night, Eggman decides to make himself a cup of hot chocolate. Unfortunately what he didn’t know was he split some experimental chemical into his hot chocolate. The next morning he arrives at the town and he develops a sudden urge to eat chocolate. Soon most of the town folks got the urge to eat chocolate as well. Turning them into chocoholic zombies. Even Sonic, Knuckles & Amy have fallen victim into being one of them.
Now it’s up to Tails, Sticks, Cream, Vanilla, Nack, Orbot & Cubot. To find a cure and stop this zombie outbreak, before it spreads across not only Bygone Island, but possibly the whole world as well.

This episode idea is inspired by that one episode of Spongebob Squarepants and the garbage eating zombies episode from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: the TV show. (I’m not kidding about the second part) While I’m not holding my breath for Cream and her mother to appear in Sonic Boom, I wouldn’t mind seeing these characters again. This episode idea would be a parody of every zombie apocalypse cliché ever made and possibly the Walking Dead TV show. It would also give a good moral that too much chocolate is bad for you.


WISHLIST #20
Android Amy
Eggman has built an android replica of Amy. He plans to use the android to cause friction with Team Sonic. He orders EggRobo to deal with the real Amy Rose, while he lets the android do the rest. Meanwhile Amy is exploring some ruins with Cliff, until EggRobo shows up with some Badniks and attack. The rest of Team Sonic do their regular routines. Leaving Android Amy to stare up some trouble. Will the real Amy defeat EggRobo and stop her android imposter, before it’s too late?

Another Amy focused episode idea that I hope it sees the light of day someday. This one was inspired by the Beast Wars episode Double Dinobot. This episode idea would have something from the Cowbot episode mentioned, Cliff to make his first appearance in the show, some Sonamy hints and to show off more of Amy’s archaeology. Now you’re probably wondering “Why didn’t Amy call for help against EggRobo?” simple my friends. EggRobo shots at her communicator, to prevent her from getting help.
As for Cliff, he was one of the characters from RoL that I really liked. I would love to see him appear in the show itself, if possible.


WISHLIST #21
Untitled Knuckles & Sticks focused episode
While exploring Creeper Gorge, Sticks & Knuckles both discovered a huge eerie looking tree. Knuckles’ curiosity gets the better of him, when he and Sticks get sucked inside it. They soon find themselves in a beautiful underground garden. Where they encounter a plant-like lifeform. The plant life form gets angry at them for trespassing and locks them up. But things will soon get worse when EggRobo and a horde of Badniks enter the picture.

I just realised that we’ve never had an episode that focused on Knuckles & Sticks. So I came up with this episode idea. This episode idea would have a familiar location from RoL, Knuckles’ nature loving side shown, Sticks’ survival skills in action and a plant-like lifeform (just in case we are unable to get Cosmo from Sonic X) as the guardian of the secret underground garden, for more world building. As for the whole “how did EggRobo was able to find them” explanation, a Flybot spied on them.
This episode idea is basically what “Into the Wilderness” SHOULD’VE been in the first place!!


WISHLIST #22
The Poison Flower *tentative name*
One day, Knuckles found an unusual flower. But then he suddenly got poisoned by it. With the help from the plant-like lifeform, Team Sonic discover that it’s a poisonous flower and is one of the rarest of them all. The only cure for it is water from a special lake, located somewhere in the center of Ragna Rock and it’s guarded by a granifier giganticus. Team Sonic (consisting of Sonic, Tails & Sticks) head off to Ragna Rock, while Amy & the plant life form look after Knuckles. But sadly, this was the perfect time for Eggman to attack.

Somewhat of a follow up to the previous episode idea and I think this one might happen in the future. If you’re wondering what happened to the plant-like lifeform, minor spoiler, he now lives in Amy’s new greenhouse in her garden. Since F&I is going to be more faithful to the show, I think it’s only fitting that this island got mentioned. Even if we currently don’t know the fate of that island or what it looks like. The granifier giganticus’ are something I want to see and learn more of.


WISHLIST #23
Sprites *tentative name*
Wendy Witchcart discovers small mythical creatures known as Sprites. She plans to use these creatures’ powers to use for her most powerful magic spells. Fortunately one of them managed to escape and soon run into Team Sonic for help. Can Team Sonic rescue those sprites from that wicked witch before it’s too late? And what plans does she have in store for them?

I bet it’s only a matter of time until we get an episode involving those little guys from Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom. From the gameplay footage I’ve seen on YouTube, the sprites are pretty much Boom’s answer to the Wisps from Sonic Colours & Lost World. I imagine the story for this episode idea would be a retelling of Sonic Colours but with a few changes here and there.


WISHLIST #24
Enter the Dragoon
Tails, Amy & Perci are training Mike, Zooey and Staci on how to defend themselves in battle, at what appears to be deserted island. But suddenly they encounter a dragon-like creature called a dragoon. At first everyone tried to fight it. But then Zooey discovers it got injured by hunters. Soon the hunters captured Panzer (which Zooey has nicknamed the dragoon) and it’s up to our heroes of this story to save him, whether Staci likes it or not.

Team Sonic can’t defend Bygone Island forever. Especially if season 2 has them go on adventures outside of the island. So I’m really hoping the writers might make some stories where they have to learn how to defend themselves, similar to this one. In terms of personality, I imagine that Staci is the polar opposite of her twin sister. This could make for some potential good comedy. As for why I chose Mike and Zooey, my reasons are as follows.
While Mike had no experience in fighting, he still wanted to help in some fashion. Tails in this episode idea would teach him how to fly his plane. Zooey tries hand-to-hand combat. But she isn’t very good at it. She would in the end however befriend the dragoon and becomes an ally to Team Sonic. I wanted to give some of those season one characters some well needed character development. Also kudos to any SEGA fanatics who got the references.


WISHLIST #25
Honey, I Shrunk the Hedgehogs
Tails has invented a shrink ray and he wants the other members of Team Sonic to see it in action. Along the way, Sonic not only encounters Shadow but also Metal Sonic as the 3 of them have a 3 way fight. The 3 brawled at Tails’ workshop, until Tails’ shrink ray shrinks them along with Amy. The other members of Team Sonic don’t know where they are. Can Sonic, Amy, Shadow & Metal Sonic put their differences’ aside and find away to get big again?

Another episode idea that MIGHT happen sooner or later. Not to be mistaken with the AoStH episode that has a similar name. It would have Metal Sonic having a personality, Shadow showing some concern for Amy & Sonic, some references to the movie this episode is parodying, Metal Sonic having a personality, one or two Sonamy moments, Eggman NOT showing up at all, Metal Sonic having a personality, all 4 hedgehogs (even if one of them is a robot) displaying some good teamwork skills, some decent action scenes and did I forget to mention Metal Sonic having a personality.
Because after what happened to him in “that episode”, he desperately needs one!!


WISHLIST #26
Sneezy Peasy
Eggman has created explosives that could make people sneeze known as sneeze bombs. He immediately tested those bombs at Bygone Island and the towns’ folk are soon infected by this sneezing fever. Even Team Sonic have fallen victim to this sneezing disease. Tails believes that Eggman has the antidote and the sneezing disease doesn’t work on robots. It’s up to Q-N-C to save the day.

Remember at the start of the Captain Rescue episode in AoStH, where Robotnik attacks a town with bombs that make you sneeze? Now imagine that but make an entire episode about and add the Boom cast into the mix. That’s this episode idea in a nutshell. I can defiantly imagine Boom!Eggman doing something like this. Like Cliff, Q-N-C was one of my favourite characters from the prequel games that I hope will appear in season 2.


WISHLIST #27
Sword of Zeus
Wanting to prove himself to be a worthy member of Team Sonic, Tommy Thunder goes on a quest to look for a powerful sword with lightening powers. With Amy, Perci and Tails by his side. Will they find this legendary Sword of Zeus? But most importantly, can he even master its power?

Remember that unnamed tiger character from “Late Night Wars”? Well recently he’s been identified as Tommy Thunder. With a name like that, you’d think he would have lightening powers. But I have a gut feeling that he doesn’t. So I’ve decided to put him into good use. Tommy Thunder was one of the characters that auditioned in the “EggRobo is a Go-Go” episode idea and failed. My idea would be that he decided to put his movie career on hold and be an actual hero. But if his personality is anything to go by from “Late Night Wars”, he’s pretty much a chicken.
This episode idea would have Tommy start getting braver, Amy’s archaeology expertise used, Tails & Perci’s mechanic skills in action, more world building with the sword and a good moral about “It’s NOT the sword that makes you powerful, it’s the skill of the swordsman who welds it”. I see great potential with this character and I hope so will the writers.


WISHLIST #28
Bug Off, Smilebug!
Wendy Witchcart creates a spell that makes a smilebug bigger, every time someone is offended by its insults. She then sends the smilebug into the town to cause some mayhem. Team Sonic quickly spring into action. But throughout the battle, the smilebug keeps getting bigger and bigger. Can our heroes find a way to squish that huge smilebug before it wrecks the town?

If there’s anything from the final issue of Archie’s Sonic Boom comics that I want to see appear in season 2, it would be Kyle the Gorilla and the smilebugs. The smilebugs are a parody of internet trolls. This episode idea was inspired by the Wander Over Yonder episode “The Troll”. Not much to say about this one except it would have a good moral of do not feed the trolls. Moving on.


WISHLIST #29
Team Perci *tentative name*
While Eggman & Metal Sonic go after Team Sonic for next piece of whatever, EggRobo prepares an all out attack on Bygone Island. With Team Sonic absent, EggRobo believes the island is as good as theirs. Not if Perci has anything to say about it. Perci & Staci look for some willing town folk, to join her new backup team. Now it’s up to Perci and her newly formed team to protect their town from EggRobo’s Badnik horde.

Credit goes to Scintillajin for this episode idea. Because I think this is an episode idea that might happen somewhere down the road. If the writers write an episode where Team Sonic and Eggman go somewhere, I think it would be cool to see an episode that explains what everybody else was up to. Plus it would be an open opportunity to see some of the characters that can fight or trained to fight, put their skills to the test against Eggface’s Badniks.
My personal team member choices would be Perci, Staci, Mike, Salty, Pepper, Zooey, Panzer, Kyle, Soar, Tommy and Dashley. I hope we get an episode that’s similar to this and be well written.


WISHLIST #30
Age of EggRobo
After so many failed attempts to destroy Team Sonic because of his Eggman’s decisions, EggRobo has finally decided to take things into his own hands. After finally conquering Bygone Island and capturing Team Sonic, under Eggman’s orders, he betrays Eggman and puts his world conquering plan into action. EggRobo also plans to do what his creator never succeeded at. Eliminating Team Sonic once and for all. But first things first, there can only be one Dr. Eggman.

This episode idea would make an excellent 22/23 minute season finale. As you can tell, the second Avengers movie was my biggest inspiration. It would have suspense, comedy when it’s appropriate, sacrifice, another and more memorable villain team up, a bit of romance, EggRobo conquering the whole world, some emotional scenes and most of all, a creator vs creation final showdown between Eggheads. If this ever see’s the light of day and its written well, I’ll be so happy.


WISHLIST #31
Untitled Dr. Eggman & Wendy Witchcart Focused Episode
One day while attacking the town, Eggman & Wendy bumped into each other. It is love at first site for those two. They soon form an alliance to crush Team Sonic. Could this be the start of a wonderful relationship for Eggman & Wendy? Not if Team Sonic can stop them.

One possible story arc I think the show will do is have Eggman falling in love with an evil woman and vice versa. It would be interesting to see someone who uses science for evil get together with someone who uses magic for evil. Then throughout the whole season, the two would eventually confess their love for each other and probably team up more often.


WISHLIST #32
Untitled Nack Focused Episode
Nack brings the Weasel Bandits to his homeland, Cutthroat Island. He hopes to make them even tougher by visiting his old mentor and adopted father. It’s boot camp time for Tim, Ted & Tom. But while Nack’s old mentor trains the Weasel Bandits, an old enemy of theirs has returned to Hooligans Port for some long time payback. Can Nack and his old mentor defeat their old enemy once more? Or will their old enemy get his revenge? Either way, the Weasel Bandits are so screwed.

Again until we get more information on F&I, this is just all speculation. With a name like Cutthroat Island, it sounds like an island where the bad people live. This is where Nack lived before he arrived at Bygone Island. Anyway onto the story.
I imagine that after one set back too many throughout the series, Nack would get desperate and decides to get help from his old mentor and also adopted father. To make the Weasel Bandits even tougher. This episode idea would have Nack’s backstory, some good character development and interaction for the Weasel Bandits, an antagonist from Nack and his mentor’s past, some decent comedic moments and Nack actually showing concern for his teammates.


WISHLIST #33
The Return of the Froglodites
Desperate for a new army, Wendy Witchcart and her apprentice follow Sticks home. During the night while Sticks was asleep, Wendy and her apprentice find the entrance to the Froglodites underground cave. She frees them from their prison, on the condition that they work for her from now on. The Froglodites agreed and captured Sticks. (again) Will Team Sonic rescue Sticks from the Froglodites (again) and their new mistress Wendy Witchcart?

I have a wicked feeling that the Froglodites will probably return in season 2 and will most likely want revenge for what Team Sonic did to them. Since Eggman uses robots to do most of his dirty work, I think it’s only fitting that Wendy Witchcart should have an army to do some of her dirty work. Such as looking after her castle, help her invade the town, look for ingredients for her spells and all that kind of stuff. One thing that made decide to have Wendy Witchcart be the Froglodites mistress is that in most fiction, witches sometimes turn people into frogs/toads.
